These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Nicholas Henwood ("we", "us") for the E for everything app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
A personal organiser. You enter information about your life — tasks, events, money, documents, health figures — and the app organises it and helps you find it. An optional assistant can create and change records for you.
Not financial advice. The app shows arithmetic on numbers you typed. It does not know your real bank balance, debts, obligations or circumstances. "Safe to spend" is a calculation, not a recommendation. We are not financial advisers and nothing in the app is a regulated financial service.
Not medical or nutritional advice. Calorie and nutrition figures, including any the assistant estimates, are approximations for your own tracking. They are not a clinical measurement and must not be used to manage a medical condition.
Not a system of record. Do not rely on this app as the only place important information exists. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
The assistant uses OpenAI. It can be wrong, misread what you meant, or create something you did not intend. You are responsible for checking what it does. You can turn it off entirely in Settings, after which nothing is sent to the provider.
Do not paste other people's personal information, passwords, or anything confidential into it.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. The data you enter is yours. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings; that deletion is permanent and immediate.
You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country, and at least 13 in any case.
Do not use the app to break the law, store material you have no right to store, attempt to access other users' data, or place automated load on the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
The app is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not promise it will be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Usage of the assistant is rate limited and those limits may change.
Your content is yours. Everything you enter stays yours, and we claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, and to transmit it to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy so the app can function. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
The app is ours. The software, name, logo and design belong to Nicholas Henwood. You may use the app; you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or rebrand it.
Do not upload what is not yours. You confirm you have the right to store everything you put in, including any documents or images. If you believe something in the app infringes your rights, email nicholashenwoodo56@gmail.com and we will act on it.
The assistant is not a counsellor, a therapist, or a crisis service, and must not be relied on as one. If you are struggling, please contact a crisis line or emergency services. The app shows those contacts when it recognises you may need them, but it will not always recognise it — please reach out directly.
To the fullest extent the law allows:
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the app — content you uploaded that you had no right to, a law you broke, or a term here you breached — you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs arising from it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without talking to you first.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaches these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
